Getting started

1. What is TamNerede?

TamNerede is a location-sharing and communication app that helps families, loved ones and teams stay connected through consent-based location sharing. You can view people on a map, exchange messages, receive alerts when they enter or leave designated areas, and send an SOS alert to your group.

2. Where can I download TamNerede?

Visit www.tamnerede.com and use the Apple iOS or Android download link to open the appropriate app store for your phone. Use the official links to make sure you download the correct app.

3. How do I set up TamNerede?

Download and open the app. Complete registration and any requested verification, then grant the permissions needed for location sharing. Create a group or join an existing one using an invitation code. After setup, check that your location is updating.

4. What do I need to create an account?

Use the phone number or email option offered on the registration screen. Provide current contact details that you can access and complete the on-screen verification steps. Keep your account login details private.

5. Can Android and iPhone users be in the same group?

Yes. Android and iPhone users can join the same TamNerede group. Each person sharing their location needs the app installed on their own phone, must be signed in, and must grant the required permissions.

6. Does the person sharing their location need to install the app?

Yes. They need to install TamNerede on their own phone and join the relevant group to share their location. Knowing a phone number or adding it to your contacts does not give you access to that person’s location.

Groups and invitations

7. How do I create a family or team group?

Use the group creation option in the app and choose a recognizable name. For example, you can have separate groups for family, friends or a delivery team. Once the group is created, share its invitation code with the people you want to invite.

8. How do I add someone to my group?

Send them your group’s invitation code. After signing in to their own account in the app, they can use the code to join. Their phone must also have the required location permissions enabled before their location can be shared.

9. How do I use an invitation code?

Open TamNerede and sign in. Select the option to join a group, enter the code you received, and complete the joining process. Check the group name to make sure you have joined the intended group.

10. What should I do if an invitation code does not work?

Check that the code is complete and entered correctly, without extra spaces. Make sure you are signed in to the right account. If the problem continues, ask the group administrator to check the current invitation details and the group’s member capacity.

11. Can I belong to more than one group?

You can belong to different groups, such as your family, friends or work team. Make sure you select the right group when viewing the map, messages or alerts. Check your current plan information for applicable group and member limits.

12. Why can’t I see a new group member on the map?

First, check that you are viewing the same group. The new member’s phone needs an internet connection, location services and the required TamNerede permissions. Ask them to open the app, finish signing in and allow the first location update to be sent.

Location sharing

13. How do I view a loved one’s location?

Select the relevant group and open the map. Use the markers to view members who are sharing their locations. Always check the last update time: the point on the map may be the most recent location received from their phone.

14. Does the location update every second?

Update frequency depends on the phone’s connection, location signal, movement and operating-system restrictions on background activity. Check the last update time rather than expecting a fixed interval. Connection or permission issues can delay updates.

15. Can location sharing continue when the app is not on screen?

The app can share location in the background when the required permissions are enabled. Allowing location access only while using the app, restricting background activity or force-stopping the app can interrupt updates. Check the phone’s battery and app permissions.

16. Can I view a loved one’s location abroad?

Yes, provided their phone has internet access and the required location permissions where they are. For example, you can stay connected with a child attending a basketball camp in Italy. Check international mobile data charges with the relevant mobile operator.

17. Can I receive a location when the phone is off or offline?

A phone that is switched off cannot send a new location. Without an internet connection, new location information cannot be expected to reach you. The map may show the last received location, which should not be treated as the person’s confirmed current position.

18. Why does the location sometimes appear slightly inaccurate?

Indoor areas, tall buildings, weak satellite signals and approximate-location permissions can affect accuracy. Enable precise location on the sharing phone and check the last update time. Small location errors can be more noticeable around very tight area boundaries.

Areas and alerts

19. What is an area and what is it used for?

An area is a designated zone around a place on the map. Save locations such as home, school, work, a hospital or a customer address as areas to receive alerts when a relevant person enters or leaves them.

20. How do I create a new area?

Open the option to create an area in the Areas section. Choose the location on the map, give it a recognizable name and set its boundary or radius. Check the relevant person and entry or exit alert preferences, then save the area.

21. Can I receive both arrival and departure alerts?

Use the area settings to choose entry alerts, exit alerts or both, as needed. For example, you can be notified when your child arrives at school and leaves school. TamNerede notifications must also be allowed on your phone.

22. How large should an area be?

Set the boundary to cover the place you actually want to monitor. Consider the school, building or site as a whole instead of drawing an extremely tight boundary around a doorway. There is no single ideal radius for every location because location accuracy varies.

23. What is a Temporary Area?

A Temporary Area is for a location you want to monitor during a specific period. Examples include a holiday hotel, accommodation on a school trip or a sports camp venue. Check the applicable dates and entry or exit preferences when creating it.

24. Do I need to add a photo when creating an area?

No. Areas are defined through their map location and settings; there is no photo-upload feature for areas. Profile pictures shown for people on the map are separate from area settings.

School trips and everyday use

25. Can I be alerted if my child does not arrive at school on time?

Create an area for the school and set an arrival-time alarm. You can be notified if entry into the area has not been detected by the specified time. Make sure you select the right person, school area and alarm time.

26. Does a not-yet-arrived alert prove that the person is late?

It means the system has not detected entry into the area by the specified time. The phone may be offline or its location may be delayed. Check the last location update first, and contact your child or the responsible person if needed.

27. How can I use TamNerede during a school trip?

View your child’s shared location and save the school group’s hotel as a Temporary Area. Set it up for the trip dates to receive hotel entry and exit alerts, and stay in touch through messages in the app.

28. Can I monitor more than one place during a camp abroad?

You can define separate Temporary Areas for places such as the team hotel and match venue. Check the entry and exit settings for each one. If you use timed alarms, also check the times shown in the app before the trip.

29. Can I see a loved one’s battery level and movement information?

Shared battery-level and movement-speed information can help you understand their situation. These details also depend on the latest update received. A low battery may lead to the phone switching off or power-saving settings delaying updates.

30. Can I review past locations?

Location history lets you review recorded past locations within the period included in your plan. The available history period and other limits depend on the selected plan. Check the current plan details in the app.

Messaging help and travel

31. Can I send messages in the app?

Yes. You can message your family or team through TamNerede, keeping communication alongside location information. For example, you can check in during a journey, coordinate a delivery or congratulate your child after a match.

32. What does the SOS feature do?

SOS lets you send an alert and location information to your groups when you need help. Use the SOS option in the app to let your contacts know about your situation. Alert delivery and location freshness depend on the phone’s connection and permissions.

33. Does sending an SOS automatically call an ambulance?

Treat SOS as a help alert sent to your groups. TamNerede’s SOS feature is not an ambulance booking or official emergency response service. If you need emergency assistance, contact the official emergency service where you are directly.

34. Can I get directions to someone’s location?

Use the route option in the person’s location details to open a suitable map app on your phone. Directions and navigation are handled by the map app you select. Check that the destination location is up to date before setting off.

35. Can I plan a journey using taxi apps?

From the route or app-selection screen, you can open supported taxi apps on your phone and continue planning a journey. Available options may vary depending on the apps installed and the services available in your location.

36. Does TamNerede handle the taxi booking and payment?

The ride request, vehicle selection, fare and payment are completed in your chosen taxi app. Opening another app from TamNerede does not by itself mean that a booking has been made or a vehicle is on its way.

Businesses and plans

37. Can businesses use TamNerede?

Yes. Small businesses, motorcycle courier companies, pharmaceutical wholesalers and field teams can coordinate through consent-based location sharing. Viewing team members on a map, messaging and customer-area entry or exit alerts can support the same workflow.

38. Does a customer arrival alert confirm that a delivery is complete?

An entry alert means the location received from the team member’s phone has entered the designated area. It does not by itself confirm delivery completion. Ask the employee for a message update or use your business’s delivery confirmation process.

39. How can an ambulance business use TamNerede?

An ambulance business can view drivers’ shared locations, message its team and receive hospital-area entry alerts. This supports internal team coordination; it does not make TamNerede a system for dispatching ambulances to patients.

40. Can employees be tracked without their knowledge?

Use TamNerede with employees’ knowledge and the necessary permissions. Clearly explain who can view locations, the purpose of use and the scope of sharing. App setup and permissions must be completed on the phone of the person sharing their location.

41. How do the plans differ?

Plans may differ in areas such as group member capacity and location-history duration. Compare current features, member limits and prices before choosing a plan. Refer to the coverage and terms shown on the purchase screen.

42. Does every group member need to buy a separate plan?

Plans are purchased for a group, and members of that group benefit from its coverage. Check the coverage and membership limits of different groups separately. See the plan screen in the app or the official website for current subscription and payment details.

Privacy accounts and troubleshooting

43. Where can I learn about privacy and location sharing?

Manage location sharing through the relevant groups and the permissions you grant. For details of data handling, retention and privacy practices, review the Privacy and Cookie Policy and Data Security pages at www.tamnerede.com.

44. Can I stop sharing my location?

Leaving a group ends sharing through that group. Turning off location permission on your phone also affects new location updates. When you change sharing settings, remember that other group members may no longer be able to see your current location.

45. Can I use TamNerede on a computer?

Sign in to the web app at app.tamnerede.com. The web panel displays information shared from members’ phones; a browser does not replace the phone that shares the location. The sharing person’s mobile app and phone permissions must remain enabled.

46. Where can I get support or request account deletion?

Use the Support and Data Deletion page on www.tamnerede.com. When reporting a technical problem, include your phone model, operating-system and app versions, the approximate time of the issue and any error message. Do not send your password or verification code.

47. Which settings should I check if I am not receiving alerts?

On your own phone, check that TamNerede notifications are allowed, internet is available, and Do Not Disturb or Focus settings are not suppressing alerts. Check the relevant area and alert preferences in the app. The sharing person’s phone must also be sending location updates.

Location update troubleshooting

48. Why can’t I sometimes see a loved one’s location or why does it update late?

First, make sure the phone of the person sharing their location has an active internet connection and that all required TamNerede permissions are enabled. Checking only your own phone may not be enough.

• Mobile data or Wi-Fi must be working, and the phone’s location services must be on.

• Set location permission to “Always” or “Allow all the time” and enable precise location where available.

• On Android, do not block background activity or background data. If battery optimization restricts TamNerede, apply the appropriate exception for the app.

• If the phone has an auto-start permission, enable it for TamNerede. Not every Android phone has this option; iPhone does not have an equivalent setting with that name.

• On iPhone, check Settings > Privacy & Security > Location Services > TamNerede. Enable “Always” and “Precise Location” if offered for the app, and also check Background App Refresh.

• If the app was force-closed, reopen it. Review low-power and data-saving settings, and make sure the app is up to date.

After checking these settings, open TamNerede on the sharing phone and allow time for a new update. Check the last location time. If the problem continues, contact support with the phone model and app version. Setting names vary by device and operating-system version.
